Our client is part of a National Facilities Management organisation, with additional design and build capabilities, operating out of numerous office bases in the UK. They are looking to add an Air Conditioning Engineer to their team from West London.  
The business has been trading for almost twenty years, developing from an independent Facilities Management operation into a fully fledged TFM and Design and Build Contractor, servicing blue chip accounts across the UK.     
The client base is comprised of large retail, corporate commercial bodies, educational establishments, property management agents and other large scale commercial property owners. Some of the UK's leading corporations utilise their services for Total Facilities Management Contracts and Consultancy Services.  
The Role:  
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance and Compliance Checks
  • Reactive Maintenance including Fault Diagnosis, First Fix Repair Work, Refurbishments and New Installations
  • Coverage of basic AC Systems (Splits, Multi-Splits, VRV, VRF, AHU's etc)
  • Maintenance of associated electrical controls and mechanical equipment
  • Occasional work on ventilation systems
  • PPM and Reactive Maintenance on electrical systems and circuits, lighting systems and controls, BMS, LV Power Supplies, alarm and fire detection systems, basic security systems, etc.
  • Client interaction, relationship development, remedial work estimating, etc.
  • All associated paperwork will be generated and maintained to ensure full compliance
  • Emergency Call out coverage on a rotational basis
The Candidate:
  • Candidates should have a good range of equipment knowledge across Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu systems and more.
  • Experience of Chillers / Refrigeration would be beneficial.
  • Candidates MUST hold a valid UK Driving License and they must be willing to undergo a DBS Full disclosure (formerly a CRB Check).
  • Some element of flexibility will be required in terms of working conditions so willingness to cover a call out rota and work occasional overtime will be required.

  • Paid door to door
  • Overtime paid before 8am and after 5pm
  • 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • On call approximately 1 in 8 as lead engineer (part of 2 man team on call)
  • Standby paid at £130 per engineer on call
  • Company van with option of private use (subject to HMRC rules)
  • Death in service policy
