Building Services Assistant

To ensure that the services are maintained to an exemplary standard adding value and an excellent level of service to the clients and staff in the building. Supporting the wider Building Services team to deliver the above.

Meeting Rooms
Regular meeting room checks to ensure meeting rooms are tidy and organised and are always in a presentable fashion
Set up meeting rooms and reconfigure as required

Photocopiers and office equipment
Regular checks to all photocopiers and other office equipment to ensure that they are in full working order
Daily stock checks of all paper and other related goods
Replace toners and waste toner cartridges where necessary, recycling all used goods
Rectifying paper jams and escalating more complicated faults to Canon
Keeping print rooms tidy and presentable at all times, replacing stationary as needed

Storage and Furniture
Take responsibility for the store rooms. Ensure they are always tidy and ordered
Movement of furniture throughout the building, setting up for events and pitches
Regular building walk rounds to spot out of place furniture and return it to its correct location

Office Moves
Assisting with all office moves and relocations
Building and dismantling desks

Health & Safety
Be vigilant that fire exits remain clear and working areas are safe
Report H&S shortfalls via ticket logging system
