Our client, a financial management firm based in central Leeds are looking to appoint a Business Support Assistant to join their team to assist support them with the running of the office.

Key responsibilities for this role are:
– To log issues relating to the site where appropriate and oversee any works to a satisfactory conclusion and report back where necessary.

– To monitor the maintenance contracts dealing with internal services such as heating, sink areas, lavatories, lighting, cabling, Printers etc, reporting back to the Business Support Advisor on progress.

– To be responsible for incoming and outgoing mail for the business, distributing appropriately and managing any in-house mailings as and when required.

– To ensure all business areas remain fully stocked and maintained with stationery/ refreshments etc as appropriate and to make the appropriate order for any replacement stock as and when necessary.

– To manage the organisations off-site storage facility and contract.

– To assist the Business Support Advisor with office space utilisation and office moves, partitioning and decorations.

– To carry out building inspections & co-ordinate contractors undertaking remedial works.

– To act as Fire Warden within the business.

– To configure meeting rooms as needed and ensure that lunches are ordered as required /prepared for service to the business.

– To be on call for weekends to assist in building and other projects.

For this the client is looking to offer a salary of £19,000 – £22,000 plus a generous benefits package including Permanent Health Insurance, Flexi time and Pension contributions of up to 12% (if you contribute 6%).
