Our Client a national Facilities Management Service Provider are looking to appoint an Area Cleaning Manager to cover their medical sites in Greater Manchester

The key responsibilities for this role will be:

– To ensure that all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the medical site’s standards or equivalent.
– To ensure the provision of adequate personnel cover at all times in line with the contract specification.
– To apply quality control procedures to ensure that the standards of cleanliness comply with the contract requirements.
– Daily liaison with departmental leads, on all service related issues to ensure the best possible service delivery to the trust.
– To carry out inductions, training/refresher training and job chats.
– Ensure that all of your team are working safely and in line with all health & safety procedures. You must ensure that all adverse events and near misses are reported, in accordance with the company procedure.
– To carry out all first line investigation procedures and all return to work interviews and first line absence meetings, in line with the company policy.
– To oversee use and to take responsibility for all, consumables, equipment & machinery used. Report any defects with equipment & machinery to line manager.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience managing staff, particularly cleaning staff and have knowledge of cleaning processes and procedures.

For this the client is looking to offer a salary of £20,000 plus company car, laptop and mobile.

This role will initially be a temporary position however the client will aim to take the candidate on after a temporary trial period (paid at £10.23 per hour)
