Our client is looking for experienced Facilities Assistants to assist them on an ongoing basis to maintain and secure their public space in central Halifax.

Core Responsibilities Include:
– Support with security (SIA badges are preferred)
– Clean, litter pick and look after the heritage building (COSHH Desirable)
– Empty bins and manage waste
– Respond to emergency incidents (first aid training preferable)
– Look after customers and act as an ambassador
– Support contractors and tenants
– Help during very busy events and events seasons.

There are multiple shifts available for this role either working 07:00 – 17:00 and
14:00 – 00:00 there will also be regular weekend work required (at least 2 weekends per month). The role will have you working at least two 10 hour shifts per week, more hours will also be offered. 

Ideal candidates will hold an SIA Door Supervisor badge and have completed a one or three day First Aid training course and COSHH awareness training.

For this the client are looking to pay £8.50 per hour, this role is initially ongoing temporary however the client do make permanent appointments from their temporary staff.
