Our client, a high profile financial organisation are currently on the search for a Facilities Manager to oversee operations at their Leicester office and support the operations in their Milton Keynes office.

With the support of the wider remote Facilities team, the Facilities Manager will provide skilled facilities knowledge and experience through a broad range of assignments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering facilities support services in accordance with the workplace strategy, H&S and security policy.

Key Responsibilities:
– Responsible for leading, developing and coaching team of direct Facilities Assistants to support with the strategic delivery of core business services.

– Serve as primary contact (or back up to primary contacts) for specifically assigned tasks within Facilities Management.

– Provide administrative support and input on H&S, building regs and environmental & sustainability programs.

– Provide flexible support to cover operational activities at various office locations when requested.

– Maintaining company compliance with Health and Safety regulations including employee H&S training.

– Provide project support and administration, may assist on various projects.

– Assist with the co-ordination of internal / external meetings and training, including management of the room booking system, completing room set ups and providing support for meetings when required.

– Actively seeking opportunities to improve Facilities service delivery, make cost efficiencies and stay up to date with the latest FM industry news.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced pro-active Facilities Manager with strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards driving change and developing a team. You will have strong H&S knowledge (IOSH or NEBOSH) and you will have experience of working within a corporate environment. This role involves travel to other UK sites when required, a Driver’s License and vehicle is essential. Please also note, any offer will be subject to background checks.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract but could turn permanent for the right candidate.

In return our client is offering a salary of £35,000 per annum plus benefits.
