Catch 22 is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer with a refrigeration bias to join the North East regional team of a first-class FM and Construction organisation, who have a wealth of experience in Public Sector, Healthcare, Retail and Commercial Property maintenance. This includes extensive PFi and LIFt Contract work. With a growing order book and an expanding FM Division, they are currently ranked as one of the leading players in Property Development and Facilities Management.    
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the reactive and planned building maintenance within several sites between Leeds and Newcastle. As part of this role, you will be required to work flexible hours and complete a variety of tasks related to this role to ensure the continued smooth operation of the FM business.  
About the role  
You will be responsible for delivering, services, repairs and maintenance of a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning plant in a commercial setting. The successful candidate will:  
  • Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various air conditioning systems and HVAC plant.  
  • Can diagnose and identify faults and failures within the equipment  
  • Order and fit parts or components to the equipment when required.  
  • Reactive and planned maintenance  
  • Be looking after university campuses, colleges, hospitals & offices.  
   
What are we looking for?  
  • Completion of recognised Refrigeration and AC apprenticeship  
  • Relevant CG qualification s in refrigeration CG 7189 parts 2 and 3 (or equivalent)  
  • CG 2079 FGAS  
  • 5 years post apprenticeship experience  
  • Experience in working with and fault-finding split AC systems and VRF Systems  
  • Experience in maintenance and fault finding on integral and remote dairy cabinets and drinks cabinets
