Catch 22 – the UK's leading Facilities Management Recruitment Consultancy – is working with one of the world's largest Waste Management specialists as they seek to capitalise on record business growth and expand their service offering in the UK. The company is seeking to appoint 2 x Sales / Account Managers based in the North West and the Yorkshire regions respectively. You will be joining a successful sales division with a wide remit to promote waste management services alongside a range of complimentary services, from energy sales to ground maintenance services.
Buoyed by recent contract awards and increased revenue, the team is full of confidence and eager to secure new contracts with end users across the North, where the business already has numerous public and private sector waste contracts. You will focus on direct end user sales under the guidance of an experienced National Sales Manager, fully supported and equipped with the essential tools to make your sales career a success.

The Company:  
Currently of the UK's leading waste and resource management companies, the business is expanding its service offering as part of its organic growth, enabling existing clients to use a one stop shop for not only their waste solutions, but also their energy supply, grounds maintenance, remediation works, industrial cleaning, site maintenance and commercial cleaning.  
The organisation already employs nearly 2,200 people across the UK and operate a range of waste management sites whilst providing a range of services to public sector organisations and industrial / manufacturing clients across the UK.    
The Role:  
We are looking for 2 Sales / Account Managers with Waste or FM experience to sell soft and hard services to national clients in either the North West or Yorkshire regions.  
You will be working 8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday and can work from a home base with access to the organisations head office team in the East Midlands.
The role will require up-selling to existing customers alongside a new business sales approach encompassing the continuous development of a sales pipeline via cold calling, marketing, client visits and presentations, networking events and suitably industry gatherings! The client base will most likely be end user focused – with a bias towards light industrial manufacturing, FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Local Authorities and Pharma/Petrochem/Process Industry clients.  
The Candidate:  
  • We are looking for proven track record in business development, account management and sales management processes in the FM Sector.  
  • You will have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets and a strong record of winning new business.
  • Knowledge of Waste Management and/or Facilities Management Services is essential and knowledge of contracts / tender processes is desirable.
  • Candidates must be resilient, driven, self motivated and flexible in terms of travel and working hours. You will have excellent presentation skills, solid IT skills and outstanding communication skills.  
The Package:  
A basic salary (based on a 40 hour week) of £25,000 is available.  
The role comes with a company vehicle and a commission system worth an additional £12,000 per annum subject to performance.  
You will receive 25 days holiday with the option to buy more.  
If this is slightly below your expectations – we are also seeking a Regional Key Account Manager – Salary circa £35,000 plus £16,000 commission potential – to oversee major accounts across the whole of the North.
