Catch 22 – one of the UK's leading Facilities Management Recruitment Consultancies – is working with one of the world's largest Waste Management and FM Service Providers as they seek to expand their service offering in the UK. As part of some ambitious expansion plans, the company is seeking to appoint 2 Sales Professionals in the West Yorkshire / M62 Corridor region to focus on the development of conventional waste management sales and additional facilities management service offerings.

The Company:  
   
Currently of the UK's leading waste and resource management companies, the business is expanding its service offering as part of its organic growth, enabling existing clients to use a one stop shop for not only their waste solutions, but also grounds maintenance, remediation works, industrial cleaning, site maintenance and commercial cleaning.  
   
The organisation already employs nearly 2,200 people across the UK and operate a range of waste management sites whilst providing a range of services to public sector organisations and industrial / manufacturing clients across the UK.    
   
The Role:  
   
We are looking for 2 Sales Professionals – 1 at Key Account Management Level and another at a more conventional B2B Outbound Sales level. Both roles will focus on the sale of waste management services and additional hard FM services to directly to end users across a wide range of business sectors.  
   
The candidates will be working 8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday and can work from home or be office based dependent on their location.  
   
We are looking to appoint a highly driven professional to manage existing accounts whilst developing a focused new business strategy in their chosen geographical location. We are also seeking experienced cold callers with a proven track record of opening up new opportunities with direct B2B sales techniques.
   
The roles will require up-selling to existing customers alongside a new business sales approach encompassing the continuous development of a sales pipeline via cold calling, marketing, client visits and presentations, networking events and suitably industry gatherings! The client base will most likely be end user focused – with a bias towards light industrial manufacturing, FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Local Authorities and Pharma/Petrochem/Process Industry clients.  
   
You will be promoting a wide range of additional services, over and above the core waste management offering.  
   
These will include:  
 
  • Industrial Cleaning
  • Ground work and remediation
  • Building Maintenance
  • Commercial Cleaning
  • Further Facilities Services are being developed and you will play a key part in determining new offerings subject to client requirements. And your own experiences and areas of expertise.
 
The Candidate:  
   
We are looking for proven track record in business development, account management and sales management processes in the FM Sector.  
 
  • You will have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets and a strong record of winning new business.
  • Knowledge of FM Services listed above is essential and knowledge of contracts / tender processes is desirable.
  • You will ideally hold a degree in engineering or business related field.
  • Candidates must be resilient, driven, self motivated and flexible in terms of travel and working hours. You will have excellent presentation skills, solid IT skills and outstanding communication skills.  
 
The Package:  
   
A basic salary (based on a 40 hour week) of £25,000 – £35,000 is available depending on your level of experience and track record in a similar role.
The role comes with a company vehicle and a commission system worth an additional £12,000 per annum subject to performance.  
You will receive 25 days holiday with the option to buy more.
